Odette Moon is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors as a Chartered Arts & Antiques Surveyor, working for the company since 2000. She has over 30 years of experience gained by working previously for 7 years as an antiques valuer within a leading International company of Loss Adjusters, focusing on high net worth claims. Prior to this she held key positions within Fine Art auction houses, working as an auctioneer and valuer. Her specialist knowledge of high worth contents was enhanced by her early years working in the furniture department at Harrods. Odette has also served on the Arts and Antiques Faculty Board of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors for over 10 years.

Since joining Drummond Read in 2000, Odette has worked on a variety of high-profile cases involving complex legal, investigative and insurance issues relating to items lost, damaged or stolen. Through Drummond Read, she managed and coordinated a diverse range of experts required in the prestigious contract for the United Nations Compensation Board in Geneva. This included substantial losses suffered by members of the Kuwait Royal family as a result of the First Gulf War.

Referred clients have included private individuals, solicitors, international companies such as EMI, Whitbread, Pickfords, many of the the major Building Societies, and Banks, including HSBC and the Bank of Ireland. These cases involved civil litigation matters arising from various types of loss. Reports for criminal cases have also been prepared on instructions from government bodies such as Trading standards, the Crown Prosecution Service and the Police.
