Alastair's input was sought when Drummond Read were required to provide a legal report and a capital gains tax report based upon 31st March 1982 for executors where two Chinese vases had been sold for several hundred thousand pounds over their auction estimate.
In June 2019 Insurers instructed Drummond Read to provide a report and valuation of a valuable Chinese scroll which belonged to a private individual in central London and was lost when in possession of a third party.
